ey Visual & Functional Features
- Traditional Meenakari & Enamel Art: The top surface is intricately adorned with beautiful, multi-colored enamel work (Meenakari). It features a striking palette of vibrant green, deep red, and warm golden-yellow, layered over a gleaming, textured silver-oxidized base.
- Auspicious Central Motifs:
- Kalash: At the dead center is a sacred Kalash (holy pot) filled with coconut and mango leaves, symbolizing prosperity, abundance, and the life force.
- Lotus Blooms: The Kalash rests on a beautifully detailed red lotus, flanked by symmetrical floral blooms on either side, which represent purity and spiritual awakening.
- Border Work: The main artwork is enclosed within layered ornamental borders, including a band of green and red leaf patterns, followed by a fine, geometric embossed silver border along the sloped edges.
- Sturdy Elevated Design: The rectangular platform is supported by four solid, short legs, raising the chowki slightly off the ground to keep sacred idols, offerings (bhog), or puja accessories respectfully elevated.
